Scott Nevins

	Scott Nevins is an Award winning Host, TV/Radio Personality, Comedian and Celebrity Interviewer, currently seen every Thursday night on truTV’s hit show “The Smoking Gun Presents”.  Scott has Hosted hundreds of live events, performed his acclaimed solo shows to sold-out audiences around the country and has collected a roster of celebrity interviews to rival a seasoned veteran twice his age! Scott has worked with some of the industries biggest stars (most recently opening for Barry Manilow at the Paris Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas) including Liza Minnelli, Laura Linney, Rosie O’Donnell, Susan Lucci, Tammy Faye Messner-Bakker, Anna Gasteyer, RuPaul, Idina Menzel, Recording Star Deborah Cox, talk show host Graham Norton, Comedian/Actor Hal Sparks, Tony Winner Melba Moore, original Village People Cowboy Randy Jones, writer and TV personality Bruce Vilanch and countless other Film, TV, Theater, and Recording stars.

	Scott has appeared on national television on truTV’s “The Smoking Gun Presents: the World’s Dumbest”, The Style Network’s “Relationship Rehab”, NBC’s “First Look  NY”, QTV, Fuse TV, LOGO, MNN Television (as host of "Out At The Center") and San Francisco’s KRON 4 Morning News. He filmed “Up Close & Personal with Kimberley Locke” and Hosted several red carpet events for TV Land online including “The TV Land Awards”, “AFI’s Salute to Michael Douglas”, “The Joan Rivers Roast” plus the “She’s Got the Look” follow up episode and live celebrity video chats with Emmy Winner Bebe Neuwirth as well as the all-star cast of the Broadway Musical “Young Frankenstein” (including Emmy Winner Megan Mullally). Scott received high praise for his work as the fill-in Host for both “The John McMullen Show” on Sirius Satellite Radio (where he also did his weekly segment “The Crapshoot - with Scott Nevins”) and “The Bill Feingold Show” on KNews Radio. 

	By the age of 24 Scott had headlined several of his own shows at the legendary comedy club Carolines on Broadway. Scott then won critical and audience raves, as well as a 2007 MAC Award Nomination for his debut solo comedy show  “Celebutant: Don’t You Know Who I Think I Am?”,  followed by two more critically acclaimed solo comedy shows  “RECE$$IONI$TA: Cheaper Than A Tank Of Gas!”  and “Scott Nevins: One Night Stand” including Sold-Out engagements in New York, Los Angeles, Boston, Baltimore, San Francisco, Saugatuck MI, Toronto and Montreal. Scott recently teamed up with his friend and TV/Broadway star Wilson Cruz for a tour of their new show “Up Close and Personal with Wilson Cruz & Scott Nevins”. As an actor, Scott appeared as a special guest star in the long running Off-Broadway hit “Tony N Tina’s Wedding”, repeating his performance for an extended run in the Las Vegas Production. 

	For the past two years, Scott has Co-produced and Hosted the hugely successful fundraiser “SPARKLE: An All-Star Holiday Concert” featuring beloved Entertainment legends like Carol Channing, Lorna Luft, Jo Anne Worley, and a cavalcade of Broadway’s hottest talent, all helping to raise money for Desert AIDS Project. For five years, Scott Produced the wildly successful Monday Night theater-fest “Scott Nevins’ Curtain Call” at Splash bar’s “Musical Mondays” and has gone on to Co-Produce (with Ryan O’Connor) it’s sister night at Los Angeles’ Eleven Nightclub, featuring performances from a new Broadway guest star every Monday night! 

	Scott has proudly donated his talents to numerous organizations, Hosting and Performing at hundreds of fundraising events. Highlights from this extensive list include “The Point Foundation’s Los Angeles Gala” (Co-Host: K D Lang), several HRC Gala’s (Seattle, Houston, Palm Springs), the “PLFAG 30th Anniversary Gala” at Tavern On The Green, “Dancing with the Desert Stars”, “Palm Springs AIDS Walk”, “Celebrity Doodles” and “The Tour De Palm Springs” (all for Desert AIDS Project), “Miracle of Lafayette Street” for God’s Love We Deliver, “Embrace” for the Matthew Shepard Foundation (Co-Host: Charles Busch), “Standing Ovations” (Co-Host: Michael Musto) as well as several events for Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS, including “Broadway Delivers!”, “Curtain Call For Carolers” (Live from Times Square), “Concert For A Cure”, “Broadway Barks!”, “The 37th Annual International Pow Wow” (at Rockefeller Center) and several years of Hosting the “Celebrity Table” a the “Broadway Flea Market”. 

	Scott was awarded an Out There Award for his work, was nominated for a 2004 HX Award, 2004 Glammy Award, 2007 MAC Award, was chosen by New York Magazine in their ‘Best of New York’ issue, and most recently appeared as the Cover Model/Story for INSTINCT Magazine.
