ACCESS TO HEALTHCARE FOR ALL

As a current DAP Health Board member, my focus has always been to create ways for all people, regardless of income, ethnicity, identity or age, to have access to high quality healthcare at low or no cost.

• Work to develop programs for retirees and senior citizens to ensure their healthcare needs are met at a cost they can afford.
  

• Support programs that provide very low-cost, or free, healthcare to people in underserved communities, including our veterans.
  

• Develop and fund more ways to expand access to healthcare, including mobile units, tele-doc appointments, and sliding scale/free options.
  

• Create ways to ensure that our healthcare institutions are competitive in the job market in order to attract more qualified medical professionals.
