MY CORE ISSUES

Refocus our efforts and resources on the things that directly affect our city and its residents: crime, homelessness, jobs, affordable housing, sustainability, and community enrichment. While we cannot ignore national issues and  conversations, we must prioritize the immediate needs of our city.

  • Keeping neighborhoods clean, safe and quiet.

  • Making sure all neighbors are housed and fed.

  • Combating crime, drugs, and violence

  • Protecting and expanding women’s reproductive healthcare access in Palm Springs.

  • Fighting for the promised opening of the Palm Springs College of the Desert campus.

  • Equal and fair treatment for all regardless of age, gender, race, sexuality, religion, income, or prior legal infractions.

  • Monitoring and enforcing our Vacation Rental Ordinance

  • Educating and preparing our youth to meet the needs of the job market.

  • Make our city the most sustainable city in the country.

  • Preservation of our architectural gems.

  • Protecting and caring for our open spaces and natural surroundings.

  • Investing in the proper infrastructure to support and bolster local businesses.

  • Finding and attracting industries beyond tourism to help diversify the local economy and add to the availability of jobs in the area.

  • Keeping the city up to date with advancements in new technology.

  • Doing our part to protect and preserve the planet and its resources.

  • Making sure our local government is working for, and to protect, the people.
