PROTECTING AND EXPANDING WOMEN’S REPRODUCTIVE HEALTHCARE RIGHTS AND ACCESS

As a longtime feminist, healthcare advocate, and community leader I am horrified at the recent onslaught of attacks on women’s reproductive healthcare rights across our nation, and from the Supreme Court. I am a staunch and unwavering supporter of women’s reproductive healthcare rights, and I intend to not only protect them, but also expand them, so that Palm Springs can become an oasis of safety and accessibility for women’s reproductive health.

• Develop and support funds that can be used to help pay travel costs, childcare, and any other financial burdens associated with a trip to Palm Springs for reproductive healthcare, for both in-state and out-of-state visitors.

• Support “sweetheart deals” for new healthcare providers and clinics to open in order to expand access to women’s reproductive healthcare.

• Vow to protect, advocate for, and vote for legislation aimed at protecting and expand women’s reproductive healthcare rights and access.
